Intro Exercise VoiceThread Places

From the Mystery Places- which one did you choose? Why? How did you annotate? If you are elver, you may link, embed, etd!

Wiki Exercise:

What is NOT a story? Why?

A soapbox. Fragmented collection of facts.

A presentation with lots of umms and ahhhs?

A confessional? A rant. A series of diary entries.

An idea without a wrapper (beginning, middle and end).

An incomplete math formulae

What else would you add to your story place as a description or a lead in to what else might happen next?

Visuals for Storytelling

What other CC licensed media did you find? What tool(s) did you use? Now that you have more media for your story, what happens next?

Where do I want to go? This track could circumnavigate the globe...

I'm going to keep walking this path because there's2558499202_2e7c4346f6_m.jpg a light at the end of the tunnel.

Uh Oh!131421682_4ca19817f1_t.jpg

That's not a light... it's an oncoming train! Throw away the map.

I want to know what's above and below.external image 3448416806_f301931473.jpg?v=0

Do I hear seagulls?

Character Voicing

Formulate your main character. Describe traits, physical description, influences, etc. Include lunks to twitter narrative or an xtranormal video of a treatment.

Looking at "character" examples:

book of days illuminates the author of the blog through what he selects and chooses to share.

Natural history blog vector by day across time-- blog software should allow this (drill down by date across time... show me all entries from June 9 across the years).

The "real-time" aspect of Pepys diary blog is interesting...

Finishing Your Story

What was the ending your group drew? How will you reach it?
